Updated after Pacific Raceways, Jun 26–28, 2026
Points shown are raw season totals. Per sanctioning body rules, each driver's two lowest results from each club with a six-race schedule will be dropped at year end.
Beachman sweeps Round 4, extends championship lead
Bruce Beachman took both victories at Pacific Raceways to extend his CC4 championship lead to 27 points over Ian Pike. Beachman won Race 7 comfortably before claiming pole and winning again in Race 8. Tamer Ozkaraoglu ran a strong second in both races, making it his best round of the season.
Beachman injured at Round 4, will miss Round 5
Bruce Beachman sustained a broken thumb and wrist injury during an out-of-class race at the Pacific Raceways event. He will miss Round 5 at Qlispe Raceway Park, which begins July 30th. The blow to his championship prospects is substantial — Qlispe’s three races are not droppable, meaning each missed race creates big opportunities for the remainder of the field.
Deniz Terek makes strong CC4 debut
Deniz Terek debuted in CC4 at Round 4, driving the #96 car to a 3rd-place finish in Race 7. Running competitively against an experienced field, Terek’s debut adds another name to a growing CC4 grid.
Ozkaraoglu delivers best round of the season
Tamer Ozkaraoglu finished 2nd in both races at Pacific Raceways, collecting 46 points — his highest single-round total of the season. After a slow start to the year, Ozkaraoglu has found his pace and climbs to 5th in the championship standings.
Veteran racer Salih flies in, podiums on debut in brand-new Caterham
Veteran road racer Ali Salih traveled to Portland to make his C7Cup debut, competing in a brand-new Caterham Seven 420R USA Race car at a track he had never seen before. Racing against a sharp field on an unfamiliar circuit, Salih ran near the front all weekend — finishing 2nd in Race 5 and earning pole position for Race 6 before taking 3rd at the flag. An impressive debut by any measure.
Beachman sweeps Round 3, seizes championship lead
Bruce Beachman won both races at Portland to take the CC4 points lead for the first time this season. With Cem Aykan absent from both races, Beachman made the most of the opportunity — winning wire-to-wire. Beachman now leads Ian Pike by 14 points, with Aykan falling to 3rd, 27 points back. Race 6 was shortened to 20 minutes due to heat.
Five cars covered by less than six-tenths in Race 5
The top five finishers in Race 5 set their best laps within 0.595 seconds of each other over 17 laps — a striking display of the parity built into the CC4 class rules. Ian Pike turned the fastest lap at 1:25.492, with Ali Salih (1:25.539) and Soner Terek (1:25.544) within a tenth. Race winner Bruce Beachman ran 1:25.611 while managing the gap ahead, and Tom Forsyth completed the group at 1:26.087.
Aykan retires car after qualifying incident, misses both races
Cem Aykan went off the curbing during the first qualifying session of the weekend, damaging the car sufficiently to force a retirement. Despite having set pole, Aykan was unable to start either Race 5 or Race 6 — a costly absence that cost him the championship lead.
Beachman sets new CC4 race lap record at Pacific Raceways
Bruce Beachman (#56) turned a 1:29.260 in Race 4, eclipsing the previous class benchmark at Pacific Raceways. The lap came in a race he finished second — 0.361 seconds behind winner Cem Aykan.
Aykan sweeps Round 2, Ozkaraoglu charges back
Cem Aykan took both wins at Pacific Raceways to extend his championship lead to 20 points. Tamer Ozkaraoglu returned to form with two podiums after missing both races at Portland. Ian Pike and Soner Terek waged a two-race battle for 4th, with Pike holding Terek off by just 0.012 seconds in Saturday's race and 0.211 seconds on Sunday.
Aykan takes both wins at season opener
Cem Aykan dominated the Rose City weekend, winning both races from the front. Beachman shadowed him by 0.375 seconds in Race 1 in what was the closest finish of the young season.
