C7 Cup
Welcome to C7Cup - the first single-marque Caterham Seven race series in the USA! While the Caterham Seven has found itself on grids in North America for decades, C7Cup introduces a dedicated set of race classes for these very unique, capable, and fun race cars. With low-running costs, excellent durability, and approachable handling characteristics, the Caterham Seven is a compelling and proven foundation for a race-class ladder.
The first iteration of the C7Cup race class ladder can be found in the Pacific Northwest, as the “CC4” class, under sanctioning of the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs (ICSCC - www.icscc.com). Based on a permissive formula of a nominally 200HP Caterham Seven and a “spec” tire (Avon ZZS), CC4 has a vehicle-prep “center-point” of a Caterham Seven 420R. Other Caterham Seven models are welcome, and balance-of-performance is achieved through throttle-limiting.
